Donausäge Rumplmayr (RURU) is an Upper Austrian family business and specialist among sawmill industry leaders in its third generation. The high-quality sawn timber and pellet products have become established in regional, national and international markets thanks to their reliable quality.
The raw material timber is processed to create top-tier products for modern timber construction and for sustainable industry packaging. Er wird zu 100 % verwertet und auch in elektrischen Strom und Prozesswärme verwandelt.
Despite its constant growth, the company, acting as its own power supplier, has been de facto 100% self-sufficient in terms of energy consumption for decades.
In addition to this, wood pellets have been produced at the Enns site since 2022, allowing Donausäge to make a significant contribution to covering demand within the region, while demand is increasing all over Europe.
